We are working with a leading B2B energy and operational solutions provider to recruit an Account Manager.
This is a prospecting and sales-focused role, ideal for a commercially minded professional looking to grow new business while managing an existing account portfolio.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will focus on new business development and outbound sales, while maintaining relationships with current bulk customers. You will support pricing, proposals, and contracts, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, prospect, and develop new commercial customers through outbound calls, site visits, referrals, and networking
* Generate and qualify sales leads within assigned territories and industries
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts
* Assist with pricing requests, proposals, and contracts
* Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity
* Build strong relationships to understand customer needs
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends
* Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and credit teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
* Represent the company professionally at customer meetings and industry events
