Responsibilities
* Ordering spare parts and tooling for all council vehicles, plant, and ancillary workshop items.
* Liaising with suppliers by telephoning and email asking for quotes on parts, order chasing etc.
* Picking, transferring, and issuing parts and tooling to internal and external depots.
* Receipting and checking goods, locating and labelling stock, and maintaining accurate records.
* Creating orders for stores items and managing stock levels.
* Handling account queries from suppliers, depots, and internal teams.
* Supporting the stores team with any ad hoc duties as required.
