Are you an engineer with a passion for bringing new products to life in a high-precision, high-reliability environment?
We're supporting a leading defence and aerospace technology organisation based in Fife as they look to expand their New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This site is a key hub for missile system components, GPS Anti-Jam technology, and space-grade manufacturing.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on with advanced electronics and mechanical assembly processes. You'll work across a variety of product lines, from power systems and guidance units to cutting-edge space hardware.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading NPI builds for CCA and unit-level assemblies, ensuring delivery on time, on cost and to the highest quality standards.
* Driving design-for-manufacturability principles from bid phase through to production release.
* Collaborating with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot issues and optimise builds.
* Using manufacturing data and analytics to inform root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
* Taking ownership of process documentation, training needs and technical escalation.
What you’ll bring:
* HND (minimum) in Manufacturing, Production or a related engineering discipline.
* Solid experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, ideally in defence, aerospace or similarly regulated sectors.
* Familiarity with DfX, Lean, Six Sigma or FMEA processes.
* A practical understanding of electronic and mechanical assemblies, with a track record of delivering improvements on complex programmes.
It would be great if you also have:
* Knowledge of CCA processes or high-reliability electronics.
* Experience supporting Space or Defence-grade manufacturing lines.
What’s on offer:
* Competitive salary and discretionary bonus scheme.
* Contributory pension (up to 10.5% company contribution).
* 25 days holiday + public holidays (with the option to buy/sell days).
* 6x salary Life Assurance.
* Enhanced sick pay and family leave policies.
* Flexible working with early Friday finish.
* Hybrid and remote options, depending on role needs.
* Access to a wide range of employee benefits and training resources.
* Up to 5 paid volunteering days annually.
