The Role As Transport Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of drivers and fleet operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring fleet and driver compliance with UK and EU regulations, including monitoring driver hours and managing infringements. Coaching, training and performance-managing drivers, including implementing structured improvement plans. Recruitment, induction and ongoing development of HGV drivers. Managing driver conduct and disciplinary processes where required. Reviewing driver timesheets, overtime and bonus data. Supporting and deputising for the Site & Warehouse Manager when required.
