We are looking for a Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a permanent basis in St Helens. The role is working for a global manufacturing company. The shifts for the Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer are Monday to Friday; 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (No nights). Salary is c£40-50,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus 25 days' holidays, company bonus, healthcare, pension etc. Duties for the Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer: Key Responsibilities * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical production equipment. * Diagnose electrical faults on machinery including motors, sensors, control panels, PLCs, drives, and automation systems. * Carry out mechanical repairs and adjustments as required, including work on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and general plant equipment. * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational disruption. * Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and production lines. * Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and industry regulations. * Maintain accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and equipment records. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to reliability and eff...
