About Us: The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care. The Role : This post covers areas throughout East Renfrewshire, including Newton Mearns, Thornliebank, Giffnock, Barrhead & Neilston meaning you may be asked to travel between areas to support different services. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, complex health issues and autism. Some of the people we support require a high level of personal care including PEG feeding and various moving and handling procedures. The packages can be 24/7 or various shifts throughout the day depending on the level of support required. Please note due to the nature of the role we can only accept female applicants who hold a full UK driving license and have access to their own car. We can consider full time/part time or bank hours.
