The team…
Within the team we carry out work for the Council’s Property, Planning and Highway services. In this role you will be providing general legal support to the team and be involved with the preparation of standard legal documentation and correspondence and responsible for managing your own caseload.
About the role….
We are looking to recruit a permanent part time 29hrs 36mins per week, Legal Support Assistant. This is a job which requires excellent communication and drafting skills as you will be providing legal support in order for the Council to meet its obligations. For this role we would like you to have an understanding of Local Government and its functions and experience of working in an office environment. You must be able to demonstrate sound communication skills, work flexibly and have the ability to prioritise workloads to meet demands.

You’ll be paid a competitive salary £25,989 to £26,403 pa pro rata
