About Our Nursery
Busy Bees in St Neots is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 93 children. We focus on supporting each child’s unique self, building confidence and self-esteem. We maintain strong links with local schools and nearby community partners. Key Responsibilities and Expectations as an Apprentice
* Plan stimulating activities for children in line with the EYFS
* Assist in delivering high-quality childcare and maintain a professional, positive environment
* Build effective relationships with children, parents and team members
* Meet each child’s individual needs
* Support safeguarding of all children
* Work towards Busy Bees apprenticeship standards with an agreed completion timeframe
* Be enthusiastic and proactive in developing own skills
* Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
* Communicate with your line Manager about activities and progress
As an Apprentice, you will work with qualified staff who will support and mentor you while you complete your apprenticeship. You will attend Learning & Development courses and be assigned a Development Coach to guide your progress.
To apply you must be working with or caring for children (voluntary or paid). Having a Level 2 in Early Years, Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) or functional skills Level 2 is desirable.
