We're looking for a Contract / Commercial Manager to support business operations by providing practical commercial guidance and helping manage agreements with clients and suppliers.
This role sits within a central support function and works closely with teams across the organisation to ensure a consistent, well-managed approach to contracts and business risk.
The Role
You'll help review, draft, and manage a range of commercial agreements, support negotiations, and provide day-to-day advice to colleagues on contractual matters. You'll also contribute to maintaining processes, supporting compliance activities, and helping the business manage risk effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and support the preparation of contracts and agreements
* Assist with negotiations and supplier/client discussions
* Provide clear, practical advice on commercial matters
* Support contract changes, issues, and queries as they arise
* Work with internal teams to maintain consistent processes and standards
* Contribute to risk tracking and general governance activities
About You
* Experience in a commercial, contracts, or procurement-related role
* Strong communication and stakeholder skills
* Good attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach
* Confident contract negotiator
Desirable:
* Relevant qualification or professional background
* Familiarity with structured contract frameworks within engineering or energy sector
