We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support a key highways infrastructure project based in Lincoln. This role is offered on a freelance basis for an initial 6-month period, with the potential for extension depending on project requirements and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
·Support the Site Agent and Project Manager in the delivery of the highways project to the required quality, time, and budget.
·Manage sections of the works on site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
·Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
·Monitor construction progress and prepare reports for senior management.
·Ensure all necessary documentation and permits are in place prior to work commencement.
·Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities as required.
·Assist in the preparation of short-term programmes and look-aheads.
·Lead daily site briefings and ensure effective communication with site teams.
Requirements:
·Previous experience in a Sub Agent role on highways or civil engineering projects.
·Strong understanding of health and safety and quality assurance on site.
·Excellent communication and leadership skills.
·Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
·Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
·CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are desirable.
·Full UK driving licence.
