Our client is a rapidly expanding, privately owned manufucturing and distribution business who have extremely ambitious growth targets for the next 3-5 years which will culminate in either an MBO or trade sale.
Due to their plans over the next few years, we are looking to find an outstanding Financial Controller with the ability to really change the culture of finance within the group. The ideal candidate will have experience of growing and developing a finance function, making it future-proof as the business grows and delivering a true business-partnering solution for the whole business.
It is imperative that you have experience of delivering finance for non-finance stakeholders, providng them with the information that they need in a format that makes sense and helps with strategic decision making at board level.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounts and reporting.
* Reporting directly to the MD, assist with financial planning and forecasting.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement these.
* Ensure compliance in all tasks.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in all internal departments.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience as a Financial Controller
* Proficiency with various financial software packages.
