Role Overview
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated radiographer to join our Ultrasound team. The post holder will supervise an integrated imaging service, coordinate resources for continuity, and be an integral member of the ultrasound team, ensuring compliance with national standards.
Responsibilities
* Ensure images and examination details are stored appropriately.
* Use ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
* Adhere to ultrasound guidance and protocols.
* Participate in audits and review activities to maintain high department standards.
* Manage own workload within scope of practice and seek guidance when required.
* Undertake ultrasound examinations and provide high quality reports, appropriate to training level.
* Carry out support duties to aid departmental management.
* Progress patient care and workflow of the ultrasound team by following relevant findings.
* Attend required training events and programmes.
* Maintain high level of communication with patients and colleagues to ensure examination quality.
