What you will do:
* Chair looked after children reviews, focusing on overseeing and quality assuring the planning and review process for each young person.
* Proactively understand and promote the young person’s voice, driving aspirational plans that support stability and permanence.
* Conduct face-to-face visits with young people between reviews and ensure IRO midway reviews are conducted to track progress.
* Engage in face-to-face looked after reviews, following best practices for effective meetings.
* Bring substantial experience in statutory social work teams, especially with looked after children and families.
* Utilise experience in chairing complex meetings within a multi-agency framework.
* Apply a thorough understanding of legal frameworks related to looked after children, including Care Planning Regulations and the IRO Handbook duties.
