An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a rapidly growing company based at Heathrow Airport (closest tube is Hatton Cross). You will be responsible for purchase ledger invoicing, reconciliation of supplier statements, supplier payments, and other related tasks.
This is an office based role Working hours are 09:00 -17:00.
As Purchase Ledger Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
* Manually entering invoices into Xero for multiple entities and currencies
* Ensuring the correct coding of purchase orders and purchase invoices
* Ensuring timely approval of purchase invoices by managers
* Checking supplier statements and reconciling supplier accounts
* Responding to supplier queries via phone and email
* Processing supplier payments
* Processing staff expenses
* Other ad-hoc duties for the accounts department as required by the Head of Finance
We’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk with the following:
* Previous experience of purchase ledger in a high volume environment
* Good IT skills including Excel and Xero
* experience of multi-currency payments
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Good timekeeping and an ability to meet strict deadlines.
