Job Description
* Part of the CFAS division
* Involved in the assessment of business interruption and other financial losses arising on behalf of clients.
* Negotiating and settlement of claims.
* Work within and part of the wider GTS team.
* Travel and undertake site visits and external meetings.
* Marketing and promotion of self and business both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
* Assess business interruption and financial claims both externally and internally.
* Review and analyze financial information.
* Prepare detailed reports on analytical work, including conclusions.
* Visit insurers, reinsurers, claimants, and the insured.
* Communicate regularly with all interested parties, manage interim payments, and prepare reports.
* Calculate and agree on claim settlements, and prepare final reports.
* Assist in developing less experienced team members.
* Build relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
* Maintain and update files, keeping abreast of legal or technical changes affecting cases.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities for self and team.
