Experience & Qualifications
The successful PE ECT will have:
• A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field
• PGCE with QTS (or completing training in 2025)
• Strong practical knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports
• Good understanding of the PE curriculum at KS3–KS4
• Willingness to take an active role in extracurricular sport and school events
• Strong communication skills and a passion for developing student confidence, health, and resilience
• A positive, energetic approach with excellent organisational skills
