Overview
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and technical expertise? We’re looking for a Service Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Service Engineer Team Leader. In this role, you’ll be responsible for commissioning, servicing, and repairing company-supplied equipment, as well as delivering on-site customer training programs. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive outstanding support and solutions, contributing to our mission of service excellence.
Your objectives and responsibilities
* Liaising with service coordinators to plan work efficiently.
* Ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations.
* Preparing thoroughly for service visits, including reviewing drawings and manuals.
* Carrying sufficient stock for service agreements and following procedures for additional stock needs.
* Communicating clearly with customers about any outstanding issues before leaving site.
* Completing detailed job sheets and obtaining customer signatures.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Taking full ownership of site issues, from raising CCILs to achieving final resolution.
Your experience and qualifications
* A background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Hands-on experience with steam processes, instrumentation, and the product range.
* Familiarity with Spirax products and their operation.

* Possess a full UK driving license.
