Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food and beverage management. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Duties
* Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
* Lead and manage the bar team, providing training and support to enhance their skills in serving and hospitality.
* Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels effectively.
* Develop creative drink menus and collaborate with the culinary team to pair beverages with food offerings.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety protocols.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
* Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
Experience
* Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
* Background in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable.
* Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is an advantage.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Experience as a barista or in beverage service is beneficial.
