Quality Compliance Officer
We’re supporting a organisation in the life sciences sector that is looking for a Quality Compliance Officer to join their Quality Assurance team. This role plays an important part in maintaining the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS), supporting compliance activities, and helping embed a strong culture of quality across the business.
Working closely with production and operational teams, you’ll help ensure that processes, documentation, and internal audits meet regulatory and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.
The Role
The Quality Compliance Officer will help maintain and improve quality systems and documentation while supporting audits, training, and internal compliance activities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively, analysing data, and ensuring processes consistently meet regulatory expectations.
You’ll work with multiple departments to review records, manage quality documentation, and help resolve non-conformance issues in a structured and compliant way.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) including procedures and work instructions
Review batch records to ensure consistency and compliance with GMP standards
Lead and maintain the internal audit schedule
Support the management of non-conformances, CAPA actions, concessions, and rework requests
Review and approve quality documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and batch records
Maintain internal quality logs including document control, CAPA, and customer complaints
Support the maintenance of employee training records and deliver quality training for new starters
Provide administrative and operational support to the Quality Assurance team as required
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone with experience working within a quality-regulated environment, ideally within a science or manufacturing setting.
You may bring:
Experience working within a regulated quality environment
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or internal auditing (desirable)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Confidence working with data and reporting tools
Good IT and administrative skills
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000
Contract: Permanent
Location: On-site - Bracknell
Working pattern: Office hours with some flexibility where required
