Responsibilities:
* Collation of Periodic Contract Performance Data: Work with all project Contract Managers to ensure the collection of performance, payment, and modification data to ensure compliance and effective contract management.
* Ensure Execution and Management of Contracts: Coordinate the collation and execution of contracts post-award, ensure electronic storage, and update contract modifications appropriately.
* Collate Quarterly Governance Reports: Use information from notices and performance data to prepare quarterly reports for Audit & Governance.
* Ownership of Relevant Templates: Maintain, update, and share templates required for activities described above.
* Monitor and report on all procurement activity in accordance with legislation, Authority’s rules, and best practices.
* Prepare or contribute to strategic reports, policies, codes, and protocols, including presentations to committees and boards.
* Management of Contract and Grants Registers: Ensure registers are comprehensive and updated regularly with all pertinent contract details.
* Publication of Procurement Notices: Complete, publish, and maintain notices on relevant portals as required by legislation.
* eTendering Portal Management: Support portal oversight, ensuring procurement processes are correctly followed.
* Support Moderation Meetings: Provide note-taking support to evidence procedural compliance and inform supplier feedback.
* Deputise for Procurement and Contracting Manager.
Requirements:
* Experience with various contracts such as Education, Construction, and Transport.
* Local Government experience is preferred.
* Experience implementing a contract management system (desirable).
* CIPS Membership or relevant degree qualification (desirable).
