About the role
Urban Revivo, a fashion brand under the FMG Group, is expanding in the UK. We are looking for a commercially driven and fashion-led Head of Buying to build and lead our buying organisation in London.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping the overall product strategy, building a high-performing buying team across womenswear, menswear, youth and accessories, and driving strong commercial performance through product. You will play a key role in defining how Urban Revivo competes in the UK/EU market - balancing trend relevance, speed, and commercial success.
What You’ll Do
Buying Strategy & Commercial Leadership
* Define and lead the overall buying strategy across all categories (Womenswear, Menswear, Youth, Accessories)
* Own product direction with a clear focus on sell-through, margin and product performance
* Establish strong range architecture (price, depth, category mix) aligned with target customer and market positioning
* Translate global brand direction into locally relevant product strategies for UK/EU markets
Team Leadership & Structure Building
* Build and lead a high-performing buying team, including category leads and specialist buyers
* Define roles, responsibilities and ways of working across buying functions
* Coach and develop buyers to strengthen both fashion judgement and commercial decision-making
* Partner closely with Design, Merchandising and Supply teams to create a highly collaborative structure
Product & Trading Ownership
* Oversee seasonal range planning and product selection across all categories
* Lead key product decisions: investment depth, repeat strategy, risk management
* Monitor weekly trading performance and drive in-season actions to maximise sales and margin
* Ensure a strong balance between fashion-forward pieces and commercial core products
Supplier & Sourcing Collaboration
* Work closely with fabric, sourcing and supply chain teams to ensure product meets quality, cost and speed requirements
* Support key supplier relationships and ensure alignment on product expectations
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Partner with Design to ensure product is both trend-relevant and commercially viable
* Work with Merchandising on OTB, stock flow and pricing strategy
* Collaborate with Retail and Marketing to ensure product resonates with local customers
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience in fashion buying, with proven success in a fast fashion or high-volume retail environment
* Significant experience leading buying teams and building product strategies
* Strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of sell-through, margin and stock risk
* Clear fashion point of view with the ability to balance trend and commerciality
* Experience managing multiple product categories (womenswear, menswear, accessories preferred)
* Strong leadership and team development capability
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organisation
