Overview
The Dales treatment and intervention team are looking to recruit a highly motivated Band 3 Community Support Worker/Trainee to join our multidisciplinary team delivering adult planned care. This is an exciting opportunity to join our service, supporting adults with mental health difficulties in the community. The Community Service for adults is an established supportive team that offers assessment and a wide variety of evidence based treatment and interventions for adults with mental health difficulties. We are recruiting a Community Support Worker to form an integral part of our team, working under the supervision of the multidisciplinary team to support in delivering a high quality service to the local population. The team is undergoing changes aimed at enhancing support for those struggling with their mental health.
The main elements of the clinical work will include supporting people and families using an evidence based model and care pathway, alongside developing and facilitating group work interventions.
Responsibilities
* Support adults with mental health difficulties in the community and their families.
* Work under the supervision of the multidisciplinary team to deliver a high quality service.
* Develop and facilitate group work interventions as part of the care pathway.
* Contribute to assessment and an evidence-based treatment and intervention approach.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience of working with adults and their families.
* Experience in mental health is an advantage; training and development opportunities will be provided for the right applicant.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and to work independently using initiative.
* Role: Band 3 Community Support Worker/Trainee.
