Role Responsibilities: Preparing materials and equipment for Science practical lessons (KS3–KS5) Supporting class teachers and Science Technicians during demonstrations and experiments Cleaning, maintaining, and safely storing laboratory glassware, chemicals, and equipment Supporting stock checks, ordering of consumables, and lab organisation Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and safe handling procedures Assisting with setting up required apparatus for A-Level practical investigations Experience and Qualifications: A science-related background or laboratory experience is desirable Strong organisation skills and attention to detail Willingness to follow safety procedures and school protocols Positive, dependable, and proactive approach to teamwork Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment Training will be provided for candidates without prior school laboratory experience.
