About the Portadown Agency
A local agency of NFU Mutual, located on the Lurgan Road we deliver a first-class service, and sell their product range across our area, to customers old and new, who are at the core of everything we do. Here in our Portadown office, honesty, integrity, and trust are at the heart of our values. We champion the personal approach to customer service that NFU Mutual are famous for.
Due to a period of growth, an exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Portadown Agency sales team as a Customer Service Adviser.
About the Role:
As a Customer Service Adviser you will provide our customers expert advice and support on a range of insurance and financial service products. Day to day activities in this role will include:
* Handling general customer enquiries to include policy adjustments and claims queries
* Taking incoming phone calls and face to face enquiries regarding existing and new policies in a timely manner
* Making outgoing calls to customers to generate new business and inform existing customers of any relevant policy information
* Maintaining accurate client data on an ongoing basis using a CRM system
* Carrying out day to day administration as part of a busy and motivated sales office.
* Operating within a compliant environment, regulated by NFU Mutual and the Financial Conduct Authority.
About You (Essential Criteria):
* A* – C grade GCSE's Mathematics and English (or equivalent)
* Motivated to proactively build client relationships
* Able to work independently and also as part of a small sales team
* Proficient in computer skills and able to use a CRM system effectively to manage sales activity
* Although sales experience is desirable, what is equally as important is the desire to learn, work to a high standard with enthusiasm and determination
