About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be leading a £50m consisting of 186 units which is a combination of houses and low rise flats. They are the Main Contractor on the project and you will be reporting into a Commercial Manager. The majority of projects are traditional build. You will be based on site in Hertfordshire which has 2 and a half years remaining.
The company are an award winning developer/contractor who have been in the construction industry for over 25 years with a turnover of over £1bn. They are very busy at the moment with multiple upcoming projects in this region.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor
Include but not limited to:
* Running a team of 2-3 people
* Managing the upstream process
* Provide assistance and support on all commercial issues
* Carry out cash flow reporting
* Final accounting
* Manage forecasts and ensure all variations are issued on time
Key Requirements of Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Must have experience leading new build projects valued over £25m from procurement to final accounts
* Must have experience managing a team of 2-3 people
* Live within commutable distance to Borehamwood
* Degree in a construction related subject is ideal
