Job Description:
Role
To maximize the benefits of technological change that will enable force-wide transformational and cultural change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the programme delivery and develop strategies required for the implementation of GRS in South Yorkshire Police.
* Lead the establishment and ongoing development of the programme's business benefits.
* Maintain and implement programme roadmaps and timelines to meet go-live dates.
* Manage governance checkpoints and relevant boards.
* Resolve issues between teams and departments.
* Monitor and adapt the project plan, assessing impacts on business requirements.
* Manage the programme's budget and adjust as needed.
* Define and manage risk mitigation and escalation processes.
* Identify dependencies and coordinate delivery across services.
* Challenge organisational processes linked to the duties system for efficiency.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into ICT solutions.
* Develop and manage customer/supplier relationships.
* Provide consultancy and support for the duties programme.
* Work outside normal hours and travel as required.
* Regular in-person work at South Yorkshire Police Headquarters in Sheffield.
Essential Criteria
* Knowledge of project planning and methodologies - PRINCE2 / MSP Practitioner.
* Experience implementing SaaS Duty Management System.
* Experience working in an IT solutions environment.
* Experience managing project delivery through full product lifecycle.
* Experience engaging with stakeholders at a senior level.
* Degree or equivalent work experience.
* Ability to produce high-level reports.
* Vetting to NPPV3 required.
