Teaching Assistant – Sport & Wellbeing Focus

Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time + Training Days

We’re after a Teaching Assistant with a passion for sport and wellbeing. You’ll help pupils access physical activities as part of their personalised curriculum, support their engagement and promote healthy habits.
Your key responsibilities
1. Supporting pupils during PE lessons, sports clubs and wellbeing sessions
2. Encouraging participation, positive risk-taking and confidence building
3. Helping pupils with additional needs feel included in all activities
4. Supporting transitions and behaviour during active sessions
5. Working with teachers and coaches to adapt activities as needed
You’ll bring
6. Sporting experience (coaching, clubs, volunteering or PE background)
7. A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach
8. Good communication and teamwork skills
9. A genuine interest in pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
