Bristol | Commercial Property | Technical Due Diligence Focus
We are working with a leading independent Development, Built Asset & Engineering consultancy that is expanding its Building Surveying team in Bristol. With a strong national client base this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to step into an Associate Director level role with genuine autonomy and leadership exposure. The focus is heavily weighted toward Technical Due Diligence (TDD) within the commercial property sector.
The Role
Operating within a high-performing commercial team, responsibilities will include:
* Leading and delivering Technical Due Diligence (TDD) instructions
* Contract Administration
* Refurbishment and redevelopment projects
* Dilapidations (Landlord & Tenant)
* Building pathology investigations
* General commercial building surveying services in line with MRICS standards
* Supporting service line growth and mentoring junior team members
* Driving business development and fee generation
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Building Surveying
* Strong TDD experience within commercial property
* High-quality technical delivery and report writing
* Sound knowledge of commercial building contracts
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed fee targets
* Strong client relationship management skills
* Commercially astute and proactive
* Comfortable operating autonomously
* Strong awareness of current commercial property challenges
* Full UK driving licence
