About Us:
MadiganGill is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the construction and engineering sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced ADT Operator to join a major project in Didcot, Oxford, starting at the beginning of February. This role is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension as the project progresses through different phases, potentially lasting up to 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate an Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) for transporting materials, excavated soil, and debris around the site.
* Perform daily pre-start checks and maintenance to ensure the ADT is in good working condition.
* Work closely with groundworks teams and site managers to transport materials to and from work areas.
* Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials as needed.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Operate machinery in tight or challenging conditions while maintaining high levels of safety and efficiency.
* Work collaboratively with other machinery operators and site workers to ensure smooth and timely project progress.
* Record daily usage, machine hours, and any issues encountered during operations.

Key Requirements:
* Proven experience operating an Articulated Dump Truck (ADT).
* Valid ADT CPCS/NPORS (or equivalent) ticket is essential.
* A valid CSCS card is required.
* Strong understanding of construction site practices and machinery safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills for liaising with the site team.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to troubleshoot any issues on-site.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* A valid driving license is beneficial.
