The Role
As a Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring the site continues to operate efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Planned preventative maintenance
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Breakdown response and repair
Supporting continuous improvement projects
Working closely with production teams to maximise reliability and performance
Maintaining high standards of safety and engineering practiceYou'll work a rotating shift pattern covering Earlies, Afters and Nights.
What We're Looking For
Engineering apprenticeship with NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
Electrical or mechanical engineering background
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or similar environments
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
PLC experience would be advantageous
A proactive engineer who takes pride in doing things properly
