Description
* Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise excess.
* Utilise ERP/MRP systems, such as Oracle, for material planning and scheduling.
* Generate and analyse data reports using advanced Excel functions.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to align material requirements with production schedules.
* Identify and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.
* Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory and material planning activities.
Profile
A successful Interim Material Planner should have:
* Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle) for effective material planning
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
* Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning principles
* Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong time management and organisational abilities to meet deadlines
* Significant relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control (3-5 years preferred)
