Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated midwife to join the Inpatient team as a Band 7 Antenatal Ward Sister at Frimley Park Hospital for approximately 12 months.
You will be required to lead on all aspects of antenatal care and you will provide clinical leadership within the Antenatal Ward. This post provides a unique opportunity for personal, professional and service development. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team within the unit and community.
Responsibilities
* The post holder will be a registered midwife able to fulfil the role with the ability to make decisions within current protocols and principles of care in compliance with the NMC Midwives Rules and Code of Practice and unit guidelines.
* This midwife will be an experienced midwife; she/he will be expected to continue with post-registration education and development to expand their knowledge and skill set further.
* The post holder will be expected to participate in the hospital on-call rota / senior midwife rota.
