You'll lead a remote-based team, build strong, value-centred relationships, and ensure every interaction exemplifies our core values—courage, Potential, Learning, and Authenticity. This is a home-based role (Scotland Preferred), with some travel, networking events, and conferences throughout the UK. You will also be part of the sales team and be comfortable picking up the phone. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision Develop and execute a clear, ambitious sales strategy that aligns with our MQ-driven mission. Identify new market opportunities across private, public, and not—for—profit sectors and craft tailored approaches to engaging decision-makers. Inspire and mentor your team. Coach each member to identify and overcome self-limiting beliefs, both internal and external, to instil a growth mindset. Direct Sales & Product Expertise Actively sell our leadership, training and development programmes alongside complementary products and services. Demonstrate sales closing experience, knowledge, and negotiations, articulating features, benefits and ROI confidently. Manage direct prospecting, lead qualification and deal closure—delivering on individual and team sales targets. Customer-Centred Engagement Cultivate trust with senior executives (HR Directors, CEOs, L&D Managers) by demonstrating genuine empathy and an authentic commitment to client success. Lead consultative conversations that uncover real pain points and co-create bespoke MQ-based solutions that drive measurable results (enhanced leadership effectiveness, engagement and retention). Ensure every proposal, presentation and follow-up is infused with clarity, energy and a persuasive MQ narrative. Pipeline & Performance Management Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting, lead qualification and nurturing to contract negotiation and deal closure. Utilise our ZOHO CRM to track pipeline health, forecast revenue and provide transparent reporting to the leadership team. Set ambitious, realistic targets (monthly, quarterly, annual), monitor progress, and implement data-driven adjustments to maximise performance. Brand Ambassador & Networking Represent The Power Within Training at industry conferences, workshops and networking events—articulating our MQ philosophy with charisma and authority. Build strategic partnerships with professional bodies, associations and referral networks to amplify our reach and reinforce our reputation as the UK's leading MQ experts. Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure that our messaging, collateral, and thought leadership content consistently reflect our values-driven, MQ-centred approach. What We're Looking For Industry Experience : Proven track record (10 years) in a senior sales role, preferably within the Training & Development industry. Preference for candidates who already understand L&D procurement cycles and key stakeholder personas. MQ Expertise : A demonstrated ability to lead with Motivational Intelligence—motivating yourself and others, reframing negative beliefs and championing a growth mindset at every interaction. Able to interpret market intelligence and competitive insights to refine our offering. Exceptional Communication : Charismatic presenter (virtual/in-person), persuasive writer (proposals, email campaigns) and confident negotiator, all delivered with a warm, engaging style.
