Atrium Hotel Heathrow is seeking a dedicated Night Manager to join our team. Located in Feltham, our hotel offers a new and exciting opportunity for a professional Night Manager. Just one stop from Heathrow Airport, Atrium Hotel Heathrow is an urban retreat offering 570 ultra chic bedrooms with delectable culinary offerings through multiple Food & Beverage outlets, sizeable event spaces and exquisite wellness like swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and the fitness centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences during the night hours.
Job Summary
As Night Manager, you will report to the Rooms Division Manager and will work alongside the reception team and be very customer focused. We are looking for someone with 4-star Hotel background who is used to working in a highly pressurized environment and can multi-task and experience in Handling Flight disruptions or any other ad-hoc bookings. The Night Manager will have bags of personality with a positive & problem-solving attitude. This job is based on weekly rosters and requires full flexibility throughout the week including weekends.
Night Manager Responsibilities
* Ensure guests' needs are met from check-in to check-out and throughout their stay
* Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with hotel standards
* Coordinate with housekeeping to fulfill guest requests promptly
* Familiarize yourself with promotions and upsell hotel services
* Adhere to company policies and procedures while interacting with guests
* Conduct cashiering duties as needed and balance daily financial transactions
* Communicate effectively with guests and handle any incoming communications promptly
* Guarantee a good coordination in between Hotel's department
* Handle flight disruptions
* Manage Night Room service and 24 hour café operations
* Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
* Handle complaints
* Manage guest parking services and associated charges
* Ensure appropriate handover and clear communication within the department and with other departments where required
* Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
* Comply with Health & Safety and ensure the safety checks & fire walks are done regularly
Requirements
* Be able to manage & train a medium size team
* Have an honest interest in hospitality and Hotel business
* Be passionate and excel in customer service
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be IT friendly, comfortable with admin task
* It would be an advantage if you have previous experience of carrying out the night manager function within Opera system.
* Exceptional customer care skills
* Ability to work in a busy environment
* Knowledge of Local area Heathrow / Hounslow
* Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the hotel
* Constantly improve knowledge and show a desire to learn, attend companys trainings
* Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping and attendance to ensure the department runs efficiently, and assist in the event of absence cover
