We are actively seeking an inspiring and highly skilled Year 6 Teacher to join one of our schools in Doncaster from September 2025. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering both the academic attainment and personal growth of our pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Setting High Expectations: Establishing a safe, stimulating, and mutually respectful classroom environment, setting ambitious goals that challenge and motivate pupils from all backgrounds and abilities.
* Driving Progress and Outcomes: Taking accountability for pupils attainment and progress, planning teaching that builds effectively on their prior knowledge, and guiding them to reflect on their learning journey.
* Curriculum Expertise: Demonstrating secure knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, fostering intellectual curiosity, and promoting high standards of literacy, articulacy, and standard English.
* Effective Lesson Delivery: Planning and teaching well:structured, engaging lessons that impart knowledge and develop understanding, including setting homework and contributing to an exciting curriculum design.
* Differentiated Teaching: Skillfully adapting teaching approaches to respond to the diverse strengths and needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, high ability, EAL, or disabilities, ensuring effective learning for every child.
* Strategic Assessment: Making accurate and productive use of both formative and summative assessment, using data to monitor progress, set targets, and provide regular, constructive feedback (both oral and through marking).
* Positive Behaviour Management: Implementing clear rules and routines, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, and managing the classroom effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness for one.
