Leaders in Care are partnered with an island based local authority, who are looking to expand their headcount for children’s social work. The team is structured to take cases from initial referral through to long term child in need / child protection work, giving continuity to service users within the smaller island community.
Due to location it is necessary that you as a social worker will be able to live away on the island, however Leaders in Care, along with the partner authority will be able to provide ample guidance as to the logistics. You will also be awarded with as pay rate of £42/h to ensure you are well rewarded for your work, weekly travel expenses to get to and from, and £250/week to pay for your accommodation.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.

Responsibilities
* Take cases from initial referral through to long term child in need / child protection work, providing continuity to service users within the island community.
* Operate within an island-based team structure and participate in ongoing caseload management and collaboration with local authorities.
Qualifications
* Social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
