We are offering an exciting 4-month locum opportunity for a talented and proactive individual to join our dynamic Children in Care Service team in Enfield. This position commences on the 1st of June or as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of extension. If you have more than 3 years of experience as a Team Manager within a Child Protection and Children in Need Team and are ready for a rewarding challenge, this role is for you.

What you will do:
* Oversee the planning and management of services for children in need of care and protection, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
* Lead and support a dedicated team of social workers, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance performance and development.
* Manage children subject to Child in Need Plans and Child Protection Plans, and initiate care proceedings when necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated and effective services.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory duties and local policies, maintaining high standards of practice.
