Overview
Tadley Court School is recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our education team. We seek versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants who can adapt their practice to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assist pupils with their work, support pupil behaviour, establish positive relationships with pupils, and respond to individual needs.
Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching across all key stages.
* Assist pupils with their work and provide behavioural support where needed.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model.
* Respond to individual pupil needs and support inclusive learning.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Versatile, resilient and committed teaching assistant who can adapt practice as required.
* Experience of autism is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
* Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
* Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including DBS checks and providing references covering the last 3 years.

About Tadley Court
Tadley Court School is set in a beautiful semi-rural location with four acres of well-maintained grounds. We are a day school with six associated Children’s Homes specialising in the education and care of children and young people aged 4 to 19 who are on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. We offer a safe, structured and predictable environment where students can develop skills to live independently and make real-life choices as they approach adulthood.
