Company Overview
Our client in the water sector manufactures mobile water and wastewater treatment units and is seeking an electrical field engineer to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of their product line.
Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and service technical equipment, handling mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks within skill level.
* Perform routine site visits to assess equipment condition and implement proactive maintenance schedules.
* Serve as a technical contact for end users, resolving equipment issues and providing training where needed.
* Maintain clear and accurate records for installations, testing, servicing, and inventory management.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels, request supplies, and coordinate procurement of necessary parts and services.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and information flow across projects.
* Follow all relevant safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices are consistently applied.
* Deliver comprehensive technical support and handover information to ensure proper equipment use and upkeep.
Qualifications/Skills
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation with an ECS Gold Card.
* Familiarity with water treatment or environmental service sectors is a plus
* Experienced in working on both construction and commercial sites.
* Professional and customer-focused, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
Location: coverage across the Northwest of England/Southwest of Scotland
Fully remote, travelling to different sites (with occasional home working)
* odd overnight stay will be required
Hours: 37.5 per week (no overtime)
