You will be responsible for:
· Leading a portfolio of complex NPD and innovation projects
· Understanding customer and consumer insights and translating into safe, legal and repeatable specifications
· Ensure delivery of the R&D plan to agreed timings, budget and quality standards
· Forging strong and effective relationships with a network of technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internally and with suppliers.
About you
You will be qualified by degree (or equivalent) in food science or food technology and have a sound technical understanding of the effects of ingredients - experience of powder-manufacturing processes would be highly desirable - new process technologies and managing multiple projects. You will also have a high level of numeracy in order to interpret trend analysis and consumer insights, with some knowledge of statistical tools for analysing data.
