Theatre Practitioner – OPERATING DEPARTMENT PRACTITIONER – SCRUB (RGN / ODP)
Plymouth Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work | £39,000 per annum (depending on experience) | 37.5 hours per week
As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you will be focused, detail‑oriented, empathetic, and possess strong communication skills. You are registered with the appropriate governing body, including NMC or HCPC, and have post‑registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment. You are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
* Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
* Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body, including NMC or HCPC
* Post‑registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment
* Team player with strong communication skills
* Empathetic and detail‑oriented
