Why Choose VWV?
We are known for a friendly and welcoming culture where teamwork and collaboration are key. We are committed to making your experience as rewarding as possible. If you haven’t started your SQE or LPC, we will sponsor you to study an LLM in Legal Practice (SQE1 & 2) at the University of Law, along with a £4,000 grant. If you’ve completed the LPC, early training contract starts are welcome.
If you require any special adjustments, whether in the recruitment process or during your training contract, please let us know – we are happy to make the necessary allowances.
Who We Hope Will Apply?
Training to be a solicitor is academically challenging, so we look for strong academic results. Non‑law graduates may need a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) or another conversion course before starting the LLM, but you are welcome to apply without one.
Legal experience is not required but any paralegal or relevant commercial experience will help demonstrate commercial awareness. We value all kinds of experiences – whether legal, paid or unpaid – and encourage you to share transferable skills.
We seek individuals passionate about commercial law who share our core values of teamwork, client focus, and a commercial approach. If you’re adaptable, resilient, and eager to make a difference, you are the kind of candidate we would love to hear from.
