Overview
Facilities Supervisor role at Equans UK & Ireland – Southampton area (HMCTS sites) on a permanent basis. 40 hours per week. Salary: £27,775.00 per annum with benefits package.
Shift pattern
* Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
Flexibility may be required to meet business needs (early starts or late finishes).
What you will deliver
* Lead the cleaning teams for the HMCTS site to maintain the building to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety, while ensuring professional conduct with staff and the public.
* Supervise cleaning teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and customer service across a large-scale government contract.
* Undergo BPSS clearance (including DBS, as required) to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
* Supervise cleaning teams across multiple locations, ensuring consistent achievement of cleaning standards.
* Motivate and manage team performance; ensure effective communication and customer care.
* Maintain awareness of health and safety principles; ensure compliance with COSHH and general safety requirements.
* Utilise basic IT and Microsoft Office tools as part of daily duties.
BPSS and security checks
Post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This includes identity verification, employment history, right to work, unspent criminal record, and significant periods abroad checks.

Who we are looking for
* Experience in the industry/public services is essential
* Previous experience supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential)
* COSHH knowledge
* Strong health and safety understanding
* Ability to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent standard
* Good communication and customer care skills
* Team player with a proactive approach
* Basic IT and Microsoft Office knowledge
