Key Responsibilities
1. Utilise workshop resources to meet financial and operational objectives while ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
2. Ensure effective communication between Workshop and Front of House teams to deliver excellent service.
3. Lead, coach, and develop the Workshop team, conducting regular reviews and meetings.
4. Manage resources and workflow to optimise productivity and efficiency.
5. Maintain Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Promote a culture of high performance and excellence within the team.
Qualifications
1. Experience in a main-dealer workshop, as a Workshop Controller or Assistant Manager.
2. Understanding of technical team management to ensure high standards of workmanship.
3. Customer-centric approach with a focus on exceeding expectations.
4. NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous but not essential.
5. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
6. Valid driving licence with minimal penalties.
