An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-regarded Legal 500 boutique law firm based in Oldham.
We are working in partnership with a highly respected law firm that is known for its exceptional standards in residential conveyancing and its strong, team-oriented culture. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Conveyancing Assistant to support their busy and well-established property team.
The Role:
You’ll play a key part in supporting fee earners with a broad caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. This is a fantastic chance to join a reputable firm with a genuine focus on development and progression.
Duties will include:
* Assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
* Drafting contracts, preparing legal documents, and managing correspondence
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
* Carrying out searches and reviewing Land Registry documentation
* Maintaining accurate records using case management systems
* Supporting post-completion processes
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a conveyancing assistant or legal support role is essential
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Confident communication skills and a professional manner
* Proficiency in using conveyancing or legal case management systems
* A proactive and team-oriented mindset
