Job title: Full-time Teacher of Art
Employer: Marlborough College
Contract: February 1st to 23rd October 2026 (possibly longer) for maternity cover
Location: co-educational boarding school, pupils aged 13–18
In the dynamic and well-resourced Art Department, you will be expected to communicate passion for your subject. A commitment to promoting Artistic learning across the wider curriculum and whole school is essential, and preference will be given to applicants who can evidence innovation in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities
* Teach Art to pupils aged 13–18 as part of a dynamic department.
* Promote Artistic learning across the wider curriculum and the whole school.
* Demonstrate innovation in teaching, learning and assessment.
* Balance teaching commitments with pastoral and co-curricular involvement within the school community.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Art Teacher with suitable accreditation.
* Motivated and inspirational teaching approach.

Digital Mini Portfolio: Provide a PowerPoint portfolio showing six to ten labelled images of your own work and ten to fifteen labelled images of work created by pupils you have taught across a selection of year groups.

Shortlisted Candidates
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach a lesson and bring a portfolio, including examples of students’ work and your own creative practice.
