Purpose
Coordination of shipping companies
Responsibilities
1. Cooperation and communication with freight forwarders, Customer service and Warehouse admin team
2. Weekly meetings with Customer service and Warehouse admin team
3. Monitor and answer daily emails
4. Make appointments for loading and delivery slots and update all necessary files
5. Coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, considering internal operational processes
6. Preparation of transport documents
7. Preparation and creation of the customs documents
8. Planning of deliveries from the company's own truck
9. Invoice check on the request
10. Shipment tracking for Customer Service
11. Creation of pick-up orders
12. Complaint Management
13. TMS Country users (incl. Carrier implementation process)
14. Creation and analysis of internal statistics on key figures relevant to departments
15. Perform in collaboration with Transportation Manager to enhance shipping structure
16. Advise Transportation Manager and Supervisor of all transportation related issues
17. Continuous Improvement
Are you our match?
18. Commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding clerk, as well as 3-5 years of professional experience in the area of distribution and export
19. Knowledge of export regulations
20. Knowledge of haulage scheduling
21. Strong service orientation
22. Strong Communication skills and assertiveness
23. Organisational skills and the ability to react quickly to changing circumstances
24. Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
25. Independent and results-oriented way of working
26. Flexibility and resilience
27. Country Transportation Market knowledge
28. Second European language would be an advantage
