Senior Project Manager - Data Centre's
As part of Keltbray’s continued growth in the mission critical and data centre sectors, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex enabling, civil, and architectural works. This role has been created to support our expanding portfolio of high-profile projects across the UK.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of enabling works, groundworks, structural, and building envelope packages on data centre and mission critical projects.
* Manage multidisciplinary teams, including direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
* Collaborate closely with clients, MEP contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and coordination across all project phases.
* Develop and manage detailed project programmes, budgets, and resource plans to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
* Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
* Uphold and promote Keltbray’s corporate values, with a strong emphasis on health & safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Key Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in delivering complex civil engineering and construction projects, ideally within the data centre or mission critical sectors.
* Strong background in self-delivery of groundworks, structures, and building envelopes.
* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Proficient in project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control systems.
* In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
* Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
* Effective leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Relevant academic qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB) is desirable.
* Willingness to travel nationally as required by project demands.
