* Shift Hours: 8pm - 8am with alternate weekend working
* Work Schedule: 4 shifts per week (44 hours total)
* Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour

Situated in Newtown, Powys, this luxurious 73-bed, purpose-built nursing and residential home opened in January 2020 and offers state-of-the-art facilities. These include a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, activities room, landscaped gardens, and advanced care technology.

Your Role as a Care Assistant (Nights):
As a Care Assistant working nights, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents during the overnight hours. Your responsibilities will include:
* Personalized Care: Supporting residents with nighttime routines, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and ensuring they feel safe and secure.
* Health Monitoring: Observing and responding to residents’ health needs, escalating concerns to senior staff as necessary.
* Emotional Support: Providing companionship and reassurance to residents who may feel unsettled during the night.
* Household Tasks: Assisting with light domestic duties such as tidying communal areas or preparing for the day ahead.
* Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery throughout the night.
* Training & Development: Actively participating in ongoing professional training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
