Job Purpose
* Support a varied portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
* Undertake audit engagements, including site visits in South Wales
* Run quarterly VAT returns
* Supervise junior auditors, including workflow management, reviewing work, and identifying knowledge gaps
* Lead quality control across engagements, championing service excellence
* Build strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and acting as their go-to advisor
* Research and interpret changes to audit and accounting regulations
* Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
* AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
* Previous audit experience within practice
* Previous experience in the preparation of statutory accounts
* Strong working knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office
* Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102)
* A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
* An enthusiastic, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
* Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines
* Highly organised, reliable and professional
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* A drive to progress within the firm
